Terms of Service for Repgrit

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Repgrit, including the Repgrit iOS app, related Apple Watch components, website, backend services, and subscription services (together, the "Service"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Apple App Store Terms

If you download Repgrit or buy a Repgrit subscription through the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply to your app license, purchases, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund flow.

These Terms govern the Repgrit Service, account, backend sync, website, and app-specific rules. If these Terms conflict with mandatory Apple terms or mandatory consumer protection law, those mandatory terms or laws control to the required extent.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Repgrit is not directed to children. If you are under the age required in your country to use online services, use Repgrit only with parent or guardian permission.

Some features require an account. Repgrit currently uses Sign in with Apple and Supabase Auth for account access. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple ID and account credentials secure and for activity under your account.

3. What Repgrit Does

Repgrit is a workout logging app. It lets you write workout notes, parse those notes into structured workout summaries, edit and review workouts, sync workouts across devices, import and export workout data, view training stats, and use coaching-style insights based on your workout history.

Repgrit may offer optional Apple Health features. If you connect Apple Health, the app may read data such as sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, and steps to show recovery-related information in the app. Current HealthKit recovery values are handled on device and are not synced to the Repgrit backend.

Repgrit is not a medical provider. The Service is for informational and tracking purposes only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, injury, pain, or other health concern.

4. User Content

"User Content" means content you create, submit, import, or store in Repgrit, including workout notes, workout templates, imported workout text, exercise names, parsed workout data, and related training information.

You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Repgrit a limited license to host, store, sync, parse, transform, display, export, secure, troubleshoot, and maintain your User Content only as needed to operate and support the Service and the features you request.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit any User Content you provide.

We do not use your User Content for third-party advertising. We do not sell your User Content. We do not use your User Content to train third-party foundation models. AI providers process content only as providers for the requested feature, such as parsing workout notes or assisting with import matching.

5. AI, Parser, Import, and Coaching Outputs

Repgrit uses a mix of deterministic parsing and provider-backed AI features. When an AI-backed feature is used, relevant workout or import text is sent through Repgrit's authenticated backend proxy and then to the configured provider, currently Groq or OpenRouter.

Repgrit applies safeguards such as prompt minimization, direct-identifier redaction, prompt size limits, server-side policy checks, rate limits, and blocking known HealthKit/recovery-derived prompt content from external AI flows. These safeguards reduce risk but do not make free-form text risk-free. Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information into workout notes or import text.

AI parsing, import assistance, workout summaries, stats, and coaching-style insights may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for your situation. You should review and edit parsed workouts and imported data before relying on them. Repgrit does not guarantee that parser output, exercise matching, training summaries, or insights will be correct.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Repgrit offers a paid subscription called Repgrit Pro. Current App Store products are:

  • Repgrit Pro Monthly (com.repgrit.pro.monthly)
  • Repgrit Pro Yearly (com.repgrit.pro.yearly)

Available products, features, prices, billing periods, trial offers, and promotions are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by country or storefront. Repgrit Pro is purchased through Apple's in-app purchase system. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings or the in-app Manage Subscription link. You can restore purchases in the app using Restore Purchases.

Apple handles App Store billing, cancellation, refund, and payment method processing. Repgrit does not receive your payment card details and does not process App Store refunds directly.

Deleting your Repgrit account does not cancel an Apple subscription. If you subscribed through Apple, your subscription may continue renewing until you cancel it through Apple.

7. Account Deletion and Data Export

You may stop using Repgrit at any time. The app includes account deletion and export tools in Settings.

When you delete your Repgrit account, Repgrit deletes your Supabase user account and backend account-linked data such as profile and synced workouts, subject to operational backup retention described in the Privacy Policy. The app also attempts to wipe user-specific local data on the device.

Deleting the app from your device may remove local data from that device, but it does not necessarily delete backend synced data or cancel an Apple subscription. Use the in-app Delete Account flow or contact support@repgrit.com for account deletion requests.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Try to access another user's account or data
  • Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or attack the Service or backend
  • Bypass subscriptions, quotas, rate limits, entitlement checks, or security controls
  • Upload malicious code or content that violates the rights of others
  • Use Repgrit as a general-purpose AI proxy or for prompts unrelated to supported Repgrit features

9. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Repgrit processes personal data, including account data, workout data, AI processing, Apple Health data, subscription entitlement data, website analytics choices, retention, deletion, and your rights.

10. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue parts of the Service where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or product changes.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date above and, where required, provide notice in the app or on the website. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Disclaimers

Except where mandatory law says otherwise, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Repgrit does not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that workout parsing, imports, summaries, stats, or insights will always be accurate.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Limitation of Liability

Except where mandatory law says otherwise, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, Repgrit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe that you materially breached these Terms, created a security risk, abused the Service, attempted to bypass quotas or payment controls, violated the rights of others, or if suspension or termination is required by law.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice. Immediate suspension may be used where needed to protect the Service, other users, or legal compliance.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in the app.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the Czech Republic, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
